Last week we had a couple water spouts. I was able to get a couple shots of them from here at the marina. They were quite far a way but you can still make them out.

The weather still doesn't want to seem to cooperate and I believe that summer came and went without much notice. This year has been worse than last year I believe.

PERCH: are out in 60 to 65 ft of water. Boaters are picking them up out from Trout Run all the way of Elk Creek. They have moved west of where they were for a while.

Preston Crawford, age 7 from West Virginia, caught this award size perch.

Kyle Omslaer, age 9 from Pittsburgh, came in with a citation size perch. His brother caught the walleye.

Mike Madigan came in with his limit of perch. He caught them out from Trout Run in 50 ft of water.

WALLEYE: are in 60-65' of water. Caught trolling with worm harnesses straight out from Walnut Creek trolling west to the line. They seemed to have moved out into the trenches. The ones that were being caught near shore don't seem to be there any longer. They have been tougher to catch lately too.

Allen Plut, age 9 caught two nice walleye. He went out with Joe and Val Haser.

John Buchta of Monongahela came in with three walleye like this one. Not real big but good eaten just the same.

Brian Omslaer, age 12 from Pittsburgh, came in with this 7 lb award size walleye. His brother caught the perch.

STEELHEAD: are out in between the first and second trench. A few stragglers have been caught in the creek but there are only a couple in there. The main run doesn't start till late September to middle October. Water temperature has to be around 64.

MEMO:
"I would like to thank all the people who where here on Saturday night the 7th of August who helped assist me Ron Prisk (Mad Money II) boat with no power in the channel. It was greatly appreciated.
Thank you all very much."

FISH FRY: Sunday, September 5, 2004 - 2:00 PM. Must bring fresh fish (less than 6 months old) and a dish (salad, dessert, pasta, breads, etc...). Don't forget to have your fish in on Friday, September 3 by 4:00 for the fish fry. I am going to take it home to thaw and check it over before bringing it in on Sunday for the Fish Fry. I still need some tables if anyone has any we can borrow.

WARNING:I have had a few people tell me they are hitting something in the center of the channel. Be careful and stay away from the center as you go out until something can be done about it.
